I want to go back to school for construction engineering(not construction management) at an abet credited college(iowa state). I currently have a B.S. in Management. I have been working for a civil engineer consultant for almost 10 years as a Technician. As a Technician it is almost impossible to move up in position. Most of what they steal are outdated and posted without the original poster's consent. It also was owned by Blake Yoon who had a scammy casting company called B.A.M. 2. One Source Talent-Similar to Explore talent. They charge you $400 to have a digital comp card on their site with a $30 monthly fee. They tell you to use their photographer that charges at least another $500-800. The only CDs that they work with are reality show ones ie. MTV, VH1 3. John Robert Powers-It's a crappy franchise that banks on a famous and DEAD agent's name. They charge a ridiculous price and claim that many celebrities went through the school such as John Wayne, Lucille Ball, etc. NONE of them did! 4. John Casablancas-Crappy franchise like JRP. Dishonest business practices as well. 5. Keith Wolfe-Career consultant who charges $400 to hook you up with scammy agencies like Dedicated and Don Gerler(Doug Bennet). False promises. 6. Voting Question: How did gangsters get caught for tax evasion? Doesn't admitting the $ constitute self incrimination?

A lot of prohibition gangsters got put away for tax evasion (Al Capone for one). How did the government get around the fact that to admit profits from illegal activities would mean admitting to the illegal activities? Resolved Question: 22 years old, thinking about med school, too late?

I'm 22 and I work as a management consultant, just graduated from a top 20 school with an engineering degree in May of this year.I'm making a comfortable living, but I really hate the work I'm doing, and I seem to find little joy in engineering or the consulting profession thus far, mostly because I can't think of the real impact that I'm making in this world, other than helping some other company's CEO make money. I've considered premed in my freshman year of college, but I failed the organic chemistry I class in my first semester, since then I've given up. But, now I am seriously re-considering this option, I'm wondering if this is too late for most med school applicants or if I start over, will that failing grade in orgo haunt me forever, and I'm just wasting my time? more

I have to finalize my thesis topic by the weekend ...and would love some help narrowing the subject down a little - waste management, in this case!
